In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an unique katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Newest Free Story Addition

This patch also brings the game's latest complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
