Six Suspects Apprehended Following 12 Million Euro Robbery on Gold Refining Lab in France

A team of six suspects equipped with military-grade weapons used explosive devices to break into a gold treatment facility located in the city of Lyon, causing light wounds to five employees during described as the newest significant daytime heist to occur in the nation.

The bold operation took place on Thursday afternoon, with law enforcement authorities swiftly apprehending the individuals believed responsible and recovering the stolen goods assessed at around €12M (£10.5M), officials reported.

Military-style weapons, pistols and explosive materials were also confiscated.

The heist took place as law enforcement in France on the same day detained five further people, featuring a main perpetrator, in regarding the recent audacious theft at the Louvre.
