Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign
The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement within the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the game's release, to trainers developing firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.
With numerous of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Much like a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Several past Pokédex entries mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot convince me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very simple to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s official description also states its capacity to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is widely considered as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for often getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you assume I was going to select Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Leo brings to the table. Starmie is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.
The Maiden – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to worry more about others.
Scorpio – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through pure hatred and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Aloof air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in hatred and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
